Eyk Schiller (DMD, PhD) is a dentist, scientist, and internationally active speaker with over 20 years of clinical experience in dentistry and prosthetics. His professional focus is on the systemic-biological perspective of occlusion, posture, and function, as well as on complex oral prosthetic rehabilitations.
In my work as a dentist and lecturer, I always focus on the person as a whole. For many years, I have been intensely engaged with the question of how occlusion, posture, breathing, and neuro-orthopedic processes interact and what influence they have on function, performance, and health.
My clinical practice and scientific training have shown me that sustainable treatment success is only possible when we think beyond isolated structures. Concepts such as the LERCH Concept® and N.A.P.® (Neuro-orthopaedic Activity-dependent Plasticity therapy) have been accompanying me for many years and shape my interdisciplinary approach to dentistry and prosthetics. It is particularly important to me to impart this knowledge in a practical way – clearly, structured, and with a strong connection to daily clinical and dental laboratory work.
For me, teaching, exchanging ideas, and thinking ahead together are central elements of modern professional development. My goal is to support professionals in better understanding functional relationships, making informed decisions, and successfully implementing treatments long-term.
