Toine has been a passionate dental technician for 35 years and a dental prosthesis technician for over 25 years. At SSOP, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion with the participants. By combining technical and clinical expertise, he teaches participants how the technical quality of a prosthesis influences the clinical process and how this contributes to the patient's well-being.
It is very important for me to pass on my knowledge. I know that you never stop learning in the field of dental technology and dental prosthetics. Every day brings new challenges. After 25 years as a dental technician, managing both small and large teams, and after 10 years working in one of the larger dental chains, it is now time to pass on my knowledge to young, new colleagues and share it with experienced colleagues. As a member of the International Denturist Association, I share my knowledge not only locally but also globally. This broadens my horizons enormously and it is very enriching to share knowledge internationally. In addition to sharing knowledge and training, I ensure that my own expertise remains up to date. I continue to treat patients in our clinic and guide young people there to a higher level. Both my son and my wife are part of our team. It's fantastic that this also ensures continuity. I love successfully applying new digital techniques to modern oral care and dental technology.
