Facts & Food 2025 - Digital prosthetics brought to life

The popular „Facts & Food“ format went on tour again this fall with four stops. Dental technicians from various regions accepted the invitation to spend an evening with valuable inspiration for their own laboratory and enjoyable culinary delights. As always, there were also great opportunities to discuss current challenges and solutions in removable prosthetics with colleagues. This time, the topic of the lecture was „Perfect in Flow“, which showed how the new UCAN product range can be used to design removable prosthetics digitally or hybrid with process reliability and a perfect fit.

Once again, very special locations were selected for the events: In Germany, Facts & Food was hosted in Henssler's kitchen, where participants were introduced to the special art of fine sushi preparation. But other culinary delights were also on offer, with delicious specialties at Stadtkäserei Zürich, creative regional fusion cuisine in Muri at roh & nobel and premium barbecues at Weber Grillcenter Graz.

„Perfect in the flow“ - specialist knowledge conveyed in a practical way

The technical part of the evening was organized by our SSOP coaches Alexia Merg (Hamburg) and Patrick Martin (Switzerland and Austria). Under the title „Perfect in Flow“, the participants were given an insight into the digital world of Candulor. The focus was on the high degree of variability with which dental technicians can now implement removable prosthetics in analog, digital or hybrid form. The basis for the digital processes presented in this lecture is the new Candulor Denture SmileLibrary +, which is now available in the 3Shape® software is available. It significantly supports optimal digital planning and intuitive design of complete dentures, which helps dental technicians to achieve their goals much faster in the development process.

This gives everyone the flexibility to decide which implementation path and which combinations best suit their workflow, the level of digitization in the laboratory and the expertise of their employees.

It continues in 2026

A big thank you goes to all participants who made Facts & Food 2025 such a special experience. There is good news for all those who were unable to attend this year: We have exciting events to offer again in 2026. From January, the webinar series “Self-confident in the flow” will continue. And there will also be many exciting training courses at SSOP in the new year.
