La SSOP (Swiss School of Prosthetics by Candulor) becomes the first internal training organization to be certified ISO 21001:2018
With its special concept of a complete training program focused on the prosthesis, the SSOP has always had the status of a quality label among the products offered by the manufacturer. An ambition that is about to be confirmed by an independent source: a quality management certification specially designed for training organizations in accordance with the ISO 21001:2018 standard. For the participants of the courses on the prosthesis, this confirms the focus on the students and the high quality standard both in the training program and in the pedagogy as well as in the choice of trainers and experts.
Due to the constant progress in dental technology and treatment methods, as well as the increasing number of dentists, continuous training is more than ever topical for prosthodontists and dentists. The differences in know-how between the various collaborators of a laboratory, attributable to training in different countries of origin, pose particular challenges for dental laboratories.

The SSOP is therefore addressing a significant gap in the range of training courses on the transmission of fundamental knowledge on the subject of "wearable prostheses". Its global network of trainers has a long practical experience and exceptional expertise and transmits its know-how within the framework of a pedagogically based training concept consisting of successive modules. The trainees thus have access to particularly interesting options for their own specialization or positioning on the dental market.

Thanks to this special training concept, it was logical for us to also submit ourselves to the audit requiring ISO 21001:2018 certification. It's a good thing for our participants: they are placing their trust in an institute of continuous training that requires continuous improvement of its management system, which must also repeat its performance every three years as part of a new audit."
What are the benefits of certification for course participants?
The special certification for training organizations is focused on apprentices. In practice, this means that the certified training organization must guarantee an optimal and motivating learning environment, with infrastructures, equipment, teaching materials and teaching methods that meet the needs of the participants. Another aspect is the establishment of a modern management of knowledge, as well as a modern conception of the transmission of learning content, based on defined standards, trainers with a high level of expertise and a commitment to continuous development.
This implies mechanisms that include a follow-up adapted to each participant, individual coaching and measured training plans. The aim is to ensure that the participants achieve their objectives. In order to achieve this, the SSOP offers various modules of seminars allowing access from different levels of knowledge, from people at the beginning of their career, in a change of orientation or in training up to advanced experts.
