Why the first live online training for dental technicians is more than just further training

Digital dental technology has changed many things. CAD/CAM systems now provide us with tools that are more precise, faster and more efficient than anything that has ever been possible before. But with this development also comes a challenge: the technology only relieves us of the previously analog work and demands more responsibility, more knowledge and more design expertise. And this is precisely where the crucial question arises: how do we learn what really helps us in a digital world without neglecting the individual tooth shape that suits the patient in order to be able to produce esthetic dentures?

The range of online courses in dental technology has grown in recent years. These are mostly recorded tutorials or short explanatory videos. These formats are justified, but they reach their limits when it comes to real skills, functional understanding, instructive feedback and, above all, a lively exchange with like-minded people. As dental technicians, we know: Morphology cannot be memorized from books. You have to understand it, see it, feel it and, above all, discuss it together, receive personal feedback on work and tasks and practise it. Digital technology needs analog understanding

CAD/CAM can do a lot - but only if we really understand the morphology behind it. The software gives us tools - but the what and why of the design remains our task. In the MorphCourse online, participants learn why certain ridges are dominant, how surface gradients have a functional effect and how complex anterior situations, including soft tissue management, can be digitally modeled that not only look like real teeth - but also behave like them. The content is structured methodically, with exercises, live demonstrations, video material and personal feedback. The result is not just knowledge - but real competence. In view of the growing number of monolithic work in the posterior and anterior region, AI will take repetitive work steps off our hands in the future. However, the dental technician will remain responsible for guiding the digital "assistant" (AI) and for the final design.

In MorphKurs-online, motivated dental technicians from all over Germany (and beyond) meet regularly for 12 weeks live in a small, guided group. Together, we get to the bottom of optics and learn how to use optical illusions.

Using analog and CAD design, we design teeth in isolation, in their entirety up to the root apex. We discuss functional processes, analyze all surfaces - and practice step by step how to implement morphology not only correctly, but also comprehensibly, comprehensibly and safely.

Understand

The course content is designed to create immediate A-HA moments from the very first lesson, so that what you learn flows directly into your day-to-day work.
