Swiss School of Prosthetics by Candulor in Switzerland

Represented by Candulor AG: Terms and of participation of Candulor AG for SSOP events

1. SSOP EVENTS
These conditions of participation apply to the events by the Swiss School of Prosthetics (SSOP), which are conducted by us.

2. REGISTRATION
Announcements and invitations to events are subject to change. Registrations can only be considered if we receive them within the registration period. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. The contract for event participation is only concluded upon receipt of our confirmation of participation or invoice. The event fee only covers participation in the event and, in particular, neither travel to and from the event nor accommodation.

3. EVENT FEE
The event fee will be invoiced after registration and is payable immediately without deduction. Only payments received before the start of the event entitle the participant to attend the event.

4. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES
We may cancel the event for important reasons (e.g. lack of cost-covering participants, unavailability of a teacher at short notice without the possibility of a replacement, force majeure). The participant will be informed without undue delay and the event fee will be refunded.

We reserve the right to make temporary or permanent changes to the program, schedule and location of the event. The participant will be informed of any changes without undue delay by e-mail. If the change is unreasonable for the participant, the participant can withdraw from the participation and will be refunded any event fee already paid.

The participant may cancel the participation free of charge by letter, fax or e-mail up to 14 days before the start of the event. In case of later cancellation, the cancellation fee is 100% of the event fee. The participant reserves the right to prove to us that no damage or a lower damage than the cancellation fee has been incurred. The participant's right to name a qualified substitute participant at any time remains unaffected.

5. DOMICILIARY RIGHT
We exercise, if necessary together with or through third parties, the domiciliary right during the event and are entitled to issue instructions in this respect. If the participant disrupts a event, we can exclude the participant from further participation after prior warning.

6. RIGHTS TO DOCUMENTS
Lecture presentations, films, videos, photos, sound recordings, scripts and other working documents shown or provided by us or the speakers may be protected by copyright or otherwise protected. In particular, protected documents may not be reproduced or made publicly accessible. Any use outside the narrow limits of copyright or other protective rights is not permitted without express consent. This applies in particular to the copying, modification and transfer to digital and analogue storage systems. Commercial audio and visual recordings by participants are prohibited during the course.

7. VISUAL AND AUDIO RECORDINGS
In the course of the event, Candulor and Swiss School of Prosthetics will make video and audio recordings of the participants and use them free of charge for internal and external communication purposes. Photos or film recordings may be used in terms of time, space, subject matter and content.

The recordings will be processed by Candulor AG, Switzerland and used and published on the Candulor websites, social media channels and printed advertising material.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please also contact our staff at the start of the event. You will then receive a sticker (please wear it visibly) and will not be photographed/filmed.

You can revoke your consent in writing at any time with effect for the future by sending a message to hello@ssop.swiss.  The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. This is particularly relevant in cases where the print order has already been placed. The revocation has the effect that published photos are removed from the above-mentioned online presences and no further photos of the person are posted. If a group photo is published, the subsequent revocation of consent by an individual person does not mean that the photo must be removed.

The consent is valid for an unlimited time and place; the participant can only revoke it if it is unreasonable to maintain the consent due to changed, unforeseeable circumstances, taking into account the interests of the participant and our interests. However, the participant may inform the persons making the recordings that he/she does not agree and does not wish to be recorded.

8. DATA PROTECTION
Information on the processing of your personal data can be found in our data protection information.

9. PLACE OF JURISDICTION
If the participant is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction shall be at our registered office; we shall also be entitled to take legal action at the participant's registered office.

10. OTHERS
If one or more of these provisions are or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
